Sucre Macaron Store Review

Oh for the love of Macarons..

Of course we all love Ladurée, but Sucre holds a special place in the cat girl’s heart close behind!

There is no doubt that macarons have found their way heavily into kittenplay culture recently. Sucre is a chain of Macaron stores based in New Orleans, Louisiana. There are currently three boutique stores open in their chain and one champagne bar. Today we are going to focus on the location closest to Royal street.

They always have cute displays outside their windows!

Not to mention a multitude of flavors, even including more recently “Absinthe” Which I think is pretty unique as even Laduree does not have an Absinthe flavored macaron currently. My second favourite flavor would have to be the chocolate dipped with 24k gold leaf on top!

Sucre' display; CEO visit to the home of Sue Ellen CanizaroSucre also has a soft spot for champagne, much like the kittens of the chateau. they suggest Perrier Jouet as the perfect champagne pairing. And best of all, their location near Royal street in the french quarter has a champagne bar upstairs!

Pictured above is the champagne bar that is upstairs from Sucre macaron store. Finally as Sucre is located in the beautiful town of New Orleans, so of course it has it’s very own Mardi gras themed macarons! Aren’t they cute!?

September Kitten Gear Review – PinchtheMuse

September Kitten gear spotlight.

PinchtheMuse has always been a favorite store of The Chateau on etsy for sometime. A strong leader in the market they provide sturdy leather kitten collars in a variety of designs suitable for heavy play. They were also the first company to incorporate themed or animal shaped bells. Their collars range in price from $20-$58. Despite the higher end price tag they are well worth it, especially for the sets that include both collar and matching wrist cuffs with bells. They also more recently have started offering metal collar options.

What Chateau girls will you see in this gear? Both Skylark and Lilith Serpentine own PinchtheMuse collars.

If you want to purchase a PinchtheMuse collar you can find their store here.
