Gamer Cat SN Exchange

Calling all gamer cats. In turbulent times like this, it’s so easy to feel isolated. I would love to open this article as a screen name exchange section so that we can all connect to each other no matter where we are located. A community that games together stays together. I would also like to recommend some fun, calming quarantine games that might help soothe the soul.

1. Animal crossing new horizons

I’m sure you’ve heard about it by now, this fun island designing game let’s you befriend animals and ask them to live on your island. Fill your home with cute mini items and visit friends.

2. Harvest moon games

Old classic, relaxing farming game where you restore your town, save the harvest sprites, find love and raise a family.

3. Minecraft

A cube based building game where the world is your playground. Build whatever you want, from traps to mansions. Explore a vast world with different ecosystems and animals, tame beasts and fight dragons and creepers!

4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

An open world Zelda game with beautiful landscapes and endless adventures. You must save the princess and all of Hyrule, explore the land, discover shrines, and help civilians to gain the power to defeat Ganon.

5. Super Mario Odyssey

One of my all time favorite Mario games, explore different lands and even walk on the moon. Live vicariously through Mario and travel the world even in isolation.

6. Untitled Goose Game

A sort of silly but entertaining game where you play as a naughty goose who makes life difficult for the townspeople. A fun way to take out some frustration.

7. Kingdom Hearts

Fantastic series, if you love Disney movies this will easily become one of your favorites. Explore your favorite Disney worlds and help restore balance with Donald and Goofy by your side.

8. Pokemon Sword/Shield

It had a somewhat controversial start but has quickly risen to the top of the charts. This game has a few more multiplayer options than the typical Pokemon game with the addition of the wild areas.

9. Mario party games

A fun way to play a board game with friends when you’re practicing social distancing. An old classic comes back with “Super Mario Party” in the newest switch release.

10. ESO Elder Scrolls Online

If you’re a fan of Skyrim, you might enjoy this multiplayer version which is based in the same universe. Go on quests and join friends to take down monsters, become a vampire or a werewolf, this very interactive mmo will have you entertained for hours.

I hope you all are staying safe. Below is my gamer info, please leave yours in the comments and feel free to add me to any platform. I look forward to gaming with you.

Same. I used to love A wonderful life and the closer camera angles, I hope they make a console version similar in the future but with the newer options and features. I still enjoy the newer games and get sucked in lol.

Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game series ever!! Also, I don’t know if anybody really knows about this game, but when I couldn’t get Animal Crossing due to not having a Switch, I got a game on PC called Garden Paws. It’s super fun and you run around as cute animals! From what I know about Animal Crossing, the two games are similar. It’s also multiplayer, so I’d definitely love to play with people!
