The Story Behind My Ears
I have had many people compliment my black and white big ears… Well, let me just tell you a little about my ears! So I promote for kitten/pet play gear with an Etsy shop – currently she is closed down due to this COVID-19 pandemic. I wanted to inform you all on the story behind the ears that me and my Etsy shop owner created. The first thing people notice is the size. They’re very large, fluffy and soft. I did tell my Etsy shop maker that I wanted big ears as I am a kitten, but my spirit animal is also a wolf. So we decided to combo the two together and she made them the perfect size for me. People also notice the piercings on the ears. I have 11 piercings total on these ears. This is because I am a very feral kitten! I happen to be strong and fierce. The most noticeable item on my ears is the black feather. This is not just an ordinary feather… This is a heart filled story to tell. My Etsy shop maker was helping out with an animal/wildlife shelter, they happened to bring in this crow that got hit by a car. They took the crow in and cleaned him up and wanted to make sure that he did not have any broken wings. The sad thing is this crow came back with the news he would never fly again!
When my Etsy shop maker told me about his story I was very sad for this crow because as we all know crows are intelligent and smart! While she was cleaning /feeding him she saw he had lost a few feathers and asked if I wanted to add one to my ears. We did talk about adding some feathers on a chain to one side of the ear due to my nature side. I accepted her offer I felt honored to have this feather part of my ears. And not just for me but for the crow he will always be remembered to this day and known that he is special no matter what happens to him. Feathers are kind of a thing that I run into on nature walk and are very spiritual sign for me. Crows have been close with my family. They follow and eat off from the bird feeders they also like to follow or greet us daily. I just wanted to share the story and the love for animals I have that was produced and put into my ears. I love it when we put our heart, mind, and soul into things and this was one of those moments in my life.
These ears are very beautiful. I too love feathers. Raven feathers are almost as lovely as crow feathers. Sometimes I can’t tell the difference.

@darkcrystal. This is one of the most unique stories I’ve read about a pair of ears. I absolutely adore all of the elements that have gone into them and to add the personal touch of crow’s wing is so touching. They suit you quite well.
